How you can help

• Events Coordination: Help plan and run events for membership-building, like our Beer & Transit series.

• Communications Coordination: Contribute to our social media, web, and print media communication.

• Content Creation: Help write up analyses to share our results with key stakeholders, create graphics and help expand our visual identity, and help design infographics that help clarify complex issues.

• Research: Dig into projects—current, past, and future, here and elsewhere—to find best practices to recommend and help map out key people and organizations along transit corridors.

• Advocacy Outreach:

  • Act as a connection to other advocacy organizations, business organizations, and chambers of commerce.

  • Map out relevant MassDOT, MBTA, DCR, RTA, TMA, Massport, or municipal transit-related or adjacent projects.

  • Track opportunities for action and community involvement.

  • Select projects relevant to TransitMatters’ mission for focus from the community.
